1. How long do the sessions last?

The fitness boot camp sessions last for 1 hour 15 minutes in the winter and 1 hour 30 minutes for the summer fitness camp.

  1. What will I be doing at the boot camp?

You will be using a mixture of training equipment and taught by fully qualified personal trainers. Please see equipment used for the full list. You will not be 'let loose' on the equipment until you have been shown the correct training techniques for all the disciplines.

  1. I have never done anything like this before, will I cope?

The best thing about Matt Ibbs Fitness Boot Camps is that because they are run by fully qualified personal trainers we are able to take in to account all fitness levels. We offer this as an all level class and we have a complete range of clients. Some which can run 1 minute and some that can run for hours. This is all taken in to consideration when we exercise and although you are pushed your fitness levels are judged individually.

  1. What if I dont show up for a session?

Unless you have given previous warnings to when you are not going to be at the camp then be prepared for the group to have a little 'bonus' when you return. Although this has not happened in Liverpool yet it has been known for fitness boot camps to be taken place on clients lawns or front gardens if they are persistant offenders. Your attendance is also taken in to consideration when booking on to future camps.

  1. What clothing should I wear?

This will depend on the weather. In the winter or cold a tracksuit, hat and gloves may be essential and in the summer t-shirts with either shorts or tracksuit bottoms. Please wear comfortable or loose clothing as you will be running and doing a lot of different exercises. It will be muddy in some sessions so please be prepared to get dirty too!!

Please wear comfortable training shoe's and not flat soled trainers! These will damage your shins or knees when running about.

  1. What else do I need to bring?

Please make sure that you bring plenty of water. I would recommend about 1-2 litres and also a sweat towel if needed.

  1. What if I cant do all the exercises?

As mentioned before, because we use personal trainers we allow for certain exercises to be hard, especially for beginners. So although we push you you are allowed little breaks if it does become too hard. We are there to encourage and get you results. We also know when you are pushing yourself to your limit and as long as you do this we do not have a problem with you taking a little breather here or there!

  1. How can I guarantee my place on the camp?

To book your place please email bootcamp@mattibbs.com with your contact details and the names of the people wanting to book on to the course. Please also state which start date you are wanting to do.

  1. What if I want more information?

Please email Matt Ibbs on: bootcamp@mattibbs.com

  1. Will I get shouted at, humilated, or made to feel useless?

We will kick your *** or hold your hand, which ever you prefer.

You wll never be humiliated, we are professionals and we aim to get the best results possible for you. We are not an army boot camp. We are run by fully qualified personal trainers who deal with all different types of people through our clients. We take each of you as an individual and will encourage you in a way to which you personally respond to.
